About Us
The association meets monthly to discuss all aspects of the landlord’s business, we exchange ideas, share problems and provide expert advice.
There are regular guest speakers covering topics from Legislation updates and Housing Benefit to finance and tax issues. Minutes are circulated to all members
We have our own advert in local papers and provide a free letting line service where all members properties can be advertised.
Association badged letting boards, rentbooks and stationary including Assured shorthold Tenancy Agreement are available and regularly updated.
We also maintain a comprehensive database of Tenant Reference Information for members only which is fully registered under the Data Protection Act.
We subscribe to a nationally recognised code of practice and we support Darlington Borough Council's Landlord Accreditation Scheme.
Committee members regularly liaise with local bodies including Housing benefit, Environmental Health and the Police.
All members agree to abide by our charter.
